What to Have Ready for an Estimate Request
Four things let us size up a job before anyone drives out.
- Photos of the area. One wide shot, and a close one of anything cracked, sunken or in the way. Have them ready when we call back.
- Rough dimensions. Paced-off length and width are close enough. We measure at the site visit.
- What is there now. Old concrete, asphalt, pavers, gravel or lawn. Whatever has to come out first is part of the price.
- Where a truck can get in. Gates, fences, overhead wires, a steep grade. Access decides how the concrete gets from the truck to the forms.
Mention any buried lines that are yours. Diggers Hotline says it does not mark private lines such as sprinkler systems, propane lines or an electric line to a garage.
What Happens After You Send It
- We call you back
We go over what you sent and ask about what it does not show. If the job is outside what we do, you hear it on this call.
- A site visit
We measure, then look at slope, drainage, access and what the new concrete will meet: the house, a garage floor, the street.
- A written estimate
The estimate comes in writing. If anything in it does not match what was said at the site, call and ask before you decide.
Where We Work
